Plantar FXT Night Splint
The Thermoskin Plantar FXT is the ideal alternative to bersome night splints. With its low-profile, comfortable design, the Plantar FXT pulls the toes back, comfortably stretching the plantar fascia. The Plantar FXT may also be worn during the day to provide longer per-day treatment times. Made with Trioxon lining, the Plantar FXT increases the subcutaneous skin temperature (2-3° F) allowing for optimal heat therapy and blood flow to the tissue. The spiral structure of the Trioxon lining lifts moisture away from the skin and traps air within the lining to prevent excessive perspiration. Indication: The plantar faxcia extensor has a semi-rigid strap that pulls the toes upwards and the foot into a slight dorsi-flexion position. The combination of the thermal properties to reduce inflammation and the stretching of the plantar fascia while sleeping may aid in the recovery of plantar fasciitis. Application: Position the foot inside the sock section of the product; place the velcro strap from the toe part through the buckle and back onto itself, lock the wrap portion to the velcro attachment over the top of the elastic strap.
